WHAT IS UNITE CHURCH?

(OUR MISSION)

Unite Church exists as a collective of Christians within the body of Christ with the purpose to:

Grow Apprentices of Jesus, according to the Bible, growing in Devotion with God and One Another.
As Apprentices of Jesus grow, we believe the Love of God will be revealed to others also.

UNITE CHURCH CORE BELIEFS

UNITE CHURCH PRACTICES

We believe that relationships are of the highest importance to God. Not only does God love community, His very core is community. Our God is three in one: Father, Holy Spirit, Jesus. Three persons so close that they are truly one. This then has to be the starting point to our Practices as Unite.
From our mission as Apprentices of Jesus (disciples), to our Values framing this goal, our Practices give clarity to practice the Way of Jesus by the continuing work of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of the Father:

From my heart, I desire to:

  1. Apprentice - Follow Jesus daily from my heart to my hands as framed by the Unite mission and core beliefs.

  2. Pray - From a place of rest in Jesus, I Intercede throughout the week for those who belong to my Neighbourhood Church.

  3. Journey - Commit to a journey of trust within my Neighbourhood Church in which we are holding one another accountable to the life we live in Christ.

  4. Share - Read and share the bible within my Neighbourhood Church throughout the week, encouraging and instructing one another in the Word.

  5. Gather - Commit to the rhythm of gathering as Church.

  6. Invest - Invest in the Equipping and releasing of the Church by contributing financially to the Unite budget.

  7. To Be Held - Commit to being held and supported by the Oversight of Unite.

All of this, from a heart that trusts Jesus, is encompassed by Love, in Faith, for the Glory of God!
